The Glories Of The NHS

"The health service was launched on a fallacy. First, we were going to finance everything, cure the nation and then spending would drop. That fallacy has been exposed. Then there was the period when everybody thought the public could have whatever they needed on the health service - it was just a question of governmental will. Now we recognize that no country, even if they are prepared to pay the taxes, can supply everything." Dr. David Owen , Labour Minister in charge of the NHS, from the Sunday Times (London) as quoted in, "The Infirmity of British Medicine," by Harry Schwartz, published in "The Future That Doesn't Work, Social Democracy's Failures in Britain," Edited by R. Emmett Tyrell, Jr. Copyright 1975, 1976, 1977 "The plight of Britain's health service conflicts desperately with the avowedly utopian ideals of its founders. Yet the myth persists - the myth that the NHS not only can but does offer a high and unvarying level of medic...

Welfare State To Police State

"In democracies the Welfare State is the beginning, and the Police State the end. The two merge sooner or later, in all experience, and for obvious reasons...all modern dictators have at least one thing in common. They all believe in Social Security, especially in coercing people into governmentalized medicine." Dr. Melchior Palyi, "Compulsory Medical Care and The Welfare State," 1949

Fear, Uncertainty, Chaos and Turmoil

Beyond the three proper functions specified in the constitution, the feds produce only fear, uncertainty, chaos and turmoil.

Reject ANY So-Called "Health Care" Bill !!!

Why we must insist that any so-called, "Health Care Bill" be rejected: "In the real world, socialism is more venal, in some countries tyrannical, because once the power to use the resources passes to a handful of controllers they can decide what the people shall be given, and the people can do little to challenge them, except by bloody civil war. The human face is taught by socialists, the ugly face appers only after it is created. And then it is too late." Arthur Seldon, "Socialism - The Grand Delusion"

Predatory Capitalism, Free Markets and Socialism

Socialists everywhere have a practised misapprehension of the difference between predatory capitalism and free markets so long as it serves to mask the universal and unrelenting failure of their Marxist ideology. The danger lies not on the right, but in the aggregation of power in large organizations, including government, and the propensity of these to seek their own interests...

The Destroyer

While The Maximum Leader channeled Alinsky as his 2008 campaign strategist, lately it has been Stalin, with Gaddafi, Chavez and Castro on retainer. After all, Alinsky never destroyed a country from a position of leadership...

We Must Do Something...Really?

Patriots are responding rightly against the massive government power grab. Please recognize, however, that the inevitable fallback position of the statists will be, "we must do something." No, the best thing that can happen is nothing. They are not interested in necessary reform, only further aggregation of power in the federal government. So yes, no bill is better than any bill that this congress would write and the Maximum Leader would sign...

The Latest Rasmussen Poll

The latest Rasmussen poll reports that 54% of the American people prefer no health care bill at all. Collectively then, we now recognize the governing template for the Maximum Leader and his cacophanous congressional coven. That is, create a problem, convince the proles only government can solve it, legislate, litigate and regulate to ensure no private sector entity, actor or agent can establish effective opposition, then do what you will. This poll is good news; good news, indeed. Republicans, are you paying attention?

The Choice

Identity group politics is the life-blood of the Democrat Party but it is tearing apart the country we love. We must ask Democrats which they prefer, their party or our country? Our peril is inversely proportional to the extent they refuse to acknowledge the difference.
